Design Resources You Can Use in Your Online Marketing
Since my days are spent designing and creating, I have come to rely on a few resources to help me along the way. I do have access to professional tools like the Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), but love using these great inexpensive online tools.
I hope you at least check out some of these resources — I can’t say enough good things about some of these!
1. Canva
Canva is my absolute favorite online image editing tool (I use it every.single.day). Canva has templates, stock photos, design elements, typography choices, and so much more. You can even create a simple logo and simple business cards if you are just getting started with your business and online presence.
If you love Canva as much as I do, I highly recommend checking out Canva for Work.
2. PicMonkey
PicMonkey is my favorite photo resizing and cropping tool, but it is so much more than that. It has themed overlays, fonts, filters, frames, textures, and templates for you to use.
3. Stock Photos
I use stock photos regularly in my online marketing and designs, and I’ve found good success with using 123rf.com and depositphotos.com (they are my current faves!). I shared more stock photo recommendations here.
There are not many stock photos available that are specifically related to music therapy or music therapists, but maybe someday there will be!
4. Design Seeds
Design Seeds is for those who love color. And I love color!!!
Design Seeds is a cool place to gather some inspiration for your branding colors! I could spend hours looking at all of the palettes.
5. Colour Lovers
When you have finally decided on *the* colors for your website, you can put them altogether in cohesive color palettes at Colour Lovers.
6. Creative Market
If you want a unique font, design element, template, graphic, or stock photo, you can find endless resources at Creative Market (affiliate link).
